Summer Thesis

We are running away from having direct human interaction and would rather reveal our thoughts and emotions semi-anonymously with the help of an electronic device to a larger audience than ever before. I have found that texting, email and social networking have made it possible to reach far beyond our local community but do we really put our best foot forward? I want to explore the change in language, the reduction of personal contact and the effects of the online persona in the real world.
